Project Berganti Bikes

Back

Description

Berganti Bikes is a specialist cycling store in Palma de Mallorca.

In early 2014 I was entrusted with the redesign of its corporate identity, as well as all the visual code, web design and interface design of the new bike booking system.
The challenge was even greater, since there were no other booking systems of its type around. The interface was designed with a clear focus on user experience.
The result is a booking system that allows you to book and intuitively customize your bike in just 4 steps.

Since the new booking system was implemented, the number of bike bookings has increased by 30%.

I am currently working closely on the design and implementation of brand improvements.

Landing page Responsive view of the landing page.
Pick size On this screen the users can see a list of available bikes. They must pick the size and the number of bikes to move on to the next step.
Pick size Responsive view of pick size. In order to see the sizes available by bike, the solution I came up with was a side scroll. An arrow indicating the scroll direction and an inner shadow help the users understand the way this step works.
Customize bike Now that the bikes and sizes are selected, the users can customize their bike. They can add pedals, damage insurance or adjust the bike set-up.

Edu is a professional who is very dedicated to his work. In our case, as well as showing that he has an exquisite taste for design, he has also helped us understand how important it is to assess the usability of each of the steps that make up our online booking system. No doubt he has helped us create something unprecedented in the cycling tourism industry, making us grow as a company. And because we know he still has a lot to offer, we will continue working with him.
